Cara Hotel & Resort is a modern boutique resort in Kachura near Shangrila (JSR) Chowk, on the Main Jaglot-Skardu Road in Lower Kachura, Skardu. Set among poplar gardens with sweeping views of the Karakoram, it sits just a short drive from the famous Shangrila (Lower Kachura) and Upper Kachura lakes and about 40 minutes from Skardu Airport.

The resort combines contemporary, stone-clad architecture with well-appointed Executive and Presidential rooms, an in-house restaurant and landscaped lawns. A 24-hour front desk, free Wi-Fi and on-site parking make it a comfortable base for exploring Baltistan.

  • Check-out time is 1200 noon. 50% rent charged for check-out after 1200 to 1800 hrs; full rent after 1800 hrs.

  • 72 hours cancellation notice required. Otherwise, one night’s NO-SHOW/CANCELLATION charge applies.
